Eternal City of the One (Nal’ri’kal)
Heart of a now-lost elven continent–and heart of the five temples on that island–Nal’ri’kal is terraced mountain landscape, honed and developed to suit the demands of the active and powerful Church of the One. The temple once stood many stories high, heralding to those far out to sea the mighty God and Father of Urth. After a mighty reaction to the elves’ rebellion and years of disuse, the temple rested in shambles on a sole pinnacle that remained of the proud continent.
An artist’s rendition of the ancient elven city of Nal’ri’kal:

During the waning years of the Age without Light, Daryn, grandfather of Daubenspeak, discovered the ruins, bringing about the rise of the Church’s return to central providence. The repaired temple does not bear the full majesty once imbued by the elves, but the vast galleries, sanctuaries, and prayer rooms filled with flowstone draw a sense of awe and wonder from all who enter. Sadly, the temple and adjoining town are ill-pressed by the scourge of faction war, the conflict leaving many homes and shops empty of their former occupants. That said, any sailor venturing to this fair city will see a monolithic spire of rock, hewn and contoured by nature and men to a beauty all of its own.
